Save your own seeds
Over the last 100 years, 80% of plant biodiversity in Europe has been lost. Not only is our world’s biodiversity rapidly reducing, but we are also losing the local knowledge, culture, and skills, needed to farm in a sustainable way, and with seed saving at the heart of the farming system.
Why not save your own seeds

Take a musical walk
Why don’t you….
A bold participatory work composed by Cathering Kontz working with Sarah Grange this combined music and interactive performance in an exploration of London’s lost river, Fleet Footing is a music walk charting a course along the path of the River Fleet through live, interactive and recorded materials.
Having flowed through history as a site for religion, trade, medicine and scandal, the Fleet was gradually covered up by the city’s development. Though all but invisible now, the river’s impact on London has left clues and hints behind: in the curves of the streets, the names of the roads, the viaducts across what is now only asphalt.
Our River of Hope was inspired by walking the path of the buried River Fleet in our Storywalks during the time of the pandemic.
Sew some seeds
Why not start a sewing circle? You could ask your local GP practice to use the waiting room as your regular gathering place. Take inspiration from the Sew The SEEDS project: a community arts quilt project to encourage knowledge and passion to save our the endangered and diverse species who share and contribute to the beauty and biodiversity of our earth
Explore Camden’s Green Loop
The Camden Green Loop is a neighbourhood strategy spanning Camden Town, Euston and Kings Cross which has beautiful public spaces and permeability at its heart. Not only does it exist to celebrate the fabulous destinations and experiences to be found, but it's also a platform that invites democratic and inclusive discussion about the future of the area, inspiring ambitious visions and thinking that pushes boundaries.
Make paper cranes
There is a tradition in Japan to make 1000 cranes when somebody is sick to wish them well
How about making your own paper crane and hanging this in your home, your local green space or your favourite tree as a symbol of our wish to create a healthy future little by little, step by step
